New Aged Care Standards are great initiative by the Commission to drive the focus towards customer service, choice and control within aged care, however, the implementation will be very challenging with existing regulatory and funding processes. In terms of my role, it will have least impact as our focus as always been our customers irrespective of new or old aged care standards.
