About the role
The role is to provide occupational therapy service in Dubbo Base Hospital as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team. The successful NSW Occupational Therapist applicant will be working in a fast-paced acute setting covering a variety of caseloads, providing client centred care and supporting appropriate and timely discharge from hospital.
This is a targeted position in accordance with GSE Rule 26: Employment of eligible persons. Where you’ll be working:
Dubbo Hospital Occupational Therapy is a small unit providing a service to inpatient wards such as medical, surgical, ICU and paediatrics as well as servicing the emergency department, home visits and occasional outpatient.
Dubbo Health Service has been under redevelopment at the existing site since 2013. Current services include: Emergency Department, General and Specialised Medical/Surgical, Maternity, Paediatrics, Intensive/Coronary Care, Palliative and Oncology Care, Renal, Orthopaedics, Medical Imaging, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Mental Health, Allied Health, Ambulatory Care/Outpatient Clinics, Stroke Services and Cardio-pulmonary Rehabilitation.
