Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2019.

The Area:
John L. Grove Centre is a ward of the Launceston General Hospital with 20 inpatient beds delivering Sub-Acute and slow-to-recover rehabilitation care. The successful applicants will enjoy a rewarding career working with a multidisciplinary team including Nurses, Doctors and a range of allied health professionals.
The hospital assistant’s role in this unit has proven to be fulfilling particularly for those who like the variety of tasks with a close contact to patients at the same time. A range of training and support can be provided to upskill the successful applicants to meet the needs of role, and to support them with career progression within the hospital.
