The role

This role leads and evaluates the implementation of the NWHHS’ Infection Control Management Plan in collaboration with committees, organisational leads, the Director of the Healthcare Standards Unit and the Executive Leadership team.

Provide specialised infection prevention and control clinical expertise, at an advanced nursing practice level, to all NWHHS employees assisting to meet identified person-centred healthcare outcomes and improving efficiency through the implementation of best practice.

Travel may be required to other facilities and so a C Class motor vehicle licence is required. Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences. Pre-employment screening, including criminal history checks and Vaccine-Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role compliance, will be conducted for the successful candidate.
