About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking enthusiastic Visitor Screening Officer’s for a fixed term part-time position (40 hours per fortnight) until December 2021. The successful applicants will be required to work a range of hours between 7am-6pm during weekdays, weekends and public holidays. Duties and responsibilities include; guiding consumers and the general public through COVID-19 screening processes, asking questions from the screening form and accurately documenting responses, temperature checking and documenting results and answering basic enquiries consistent with the screening process.

What you bring

The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to work effectively in a team environment with limited supervision and have the ability to problem solve within a defined scope of practice. High attention to detail and accuracy in documenting information and completing forms as well as demonstrating excellent communication skills and computer literacy are essential.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2016 – 2020, with the appropriate classification of Grade 1A.

The successful applicant will be required to be eligible for and undergo the following:

  • Police Record Check
  • Employee Working with Children’s Check
  • Current Immunisation status
