Royal Prince Alfred Hospital of Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dynamic Ward Assistant to join our team.

About the Role

Do you have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with others?

Do you have ability to maintain safe work practice, adhering to WHS policies and procedures?

The purpose of this role is to provide assistance to Nurses, Midwives and other staff in clinical units to ensure overall functioning of the service. This is a support role with a scope of duties that encompasses tidying, cleaning, stocking and errands as required.

To be considered for this role you must have the ability to participate in a Monday-Friday roster.

All NSW Health workers are required to have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 30 September 2021 and two doses by 30 November 2021, or have an approved medical contraindication certificate. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful.
