About the Department
Auburn House is a 30 bed aged psychiatry residential facility in Richmond, caring for people with serious mental health, behavioural and psychological needs who are looked after by a skilled and compassionate multidisciplinary team.

About the Role
Provide efficient administrative support to the Auburn House. This will involve performing reception duties in a friendly, courteous manner to a broad population of elderly people, their carer’s and families and professional staff. Also, this role will be responsible for administrative functions such as telephone enquiries, maintaining and ordering office equipment and management of petty cash.

Salary
Classification for this position will be YC88 ($29.57 per hour).

Duties

  • Provide administrative and reception functions as directed by the manager
  • Assist with day to day communication and administrative processes including telephone calls, minute taking, message relaying and data processing
  • Maintain and order office equipment, stationery supplies, forms and packs for use by staff
  • Maintain bookkeeping, management of petty cash, servicing and maintenance of equipment
  • Assist in developing common administrative policies, processes and system

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Completion of year 12 or equivalent literacy and numeracy
