Campbelltown & Camden Hospitals is recruiting for a Hospital Assistant (Gde 2) to complement and enhance the current Corporate Services.

What you’ll be doing

 

To maintain a clean hazard free environment for patients, staff, volunteers and visitors ; providing the highest possible standard in line with NSW Health Environmental Cleaning Policy.

 

Selection criteria:

 

  • Aboriginality – this position has been advertised under the SWSLHD Aboriginal Targeted Recruitment Program.   • Demonstrated communication skills both verbal and written (tested at interview)
  • Ability to work a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays with the flexibility to work morning, afternoon and night shifts as required according to patient flow needs.
  • Ability to navigate with a computer to undertake online training modules/update rosters through HealthRoster and view/update the HRIS Human Resources Information System by way of Stafflink.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Infection Prevention principles and WHS legislation
  • Demonstrated Experience in cleaning within a healthcare, commercial or industrial setting
  • Ability to work effectively independently or in a group environment
