About the Child and Youth Community Health Services

The Child and Youth Community Health Services (CYCHS) brings together a variety of specialist community services to help our kids and their families to lead healthier lives.

CYCHS predominantly provides front line health care to communities throughout Southeast Queensland. In fact, the service provides access to community care to around 470,000 children, which represents 42 per cent of Queensland’s children. A range of services are provided across the continuum of care as well as health promotion.

A number of Child and Youth Community Health programs, including Deadly Ears, reach communities throughout the entire state.

The service’s 450 (full-time equivalent) staff work in and from more than 50 community health centres, plus clinics, hospitals, schools, shops and offices, covering a geographic area beyond Beaudesert in the south to Kilcoy in the north.

Your Opportunity:
This position of Administration Officer will:
Coordinate and support a team of frontline clinical staff for the Child Development Program and perform a range of administration functions to provide consistent and high-quality services in clinical areas.
Also provides a high level of customer service, demonstrating understanding, empathy, patience and a positive attitude.
